Welcome

Located in the heart of the Silent City of Mdina, the Carmelite Priory has opened its doors to the public. The Carmelite friars who reside here invite you to experience both the spiritual and the daily way of life of their predecessors in this spectacular 17th century priory. The Carmelite Priory offers the unique opportunity of visiting various rooms of that include a decorative refectory, an authentic kitchen, a typical friars cell, as well as a sober oratory, amongst others. The impressive church also forms part of the same visit. At the Carmelite Priory one can also find a Gift Shop as well as a Café which are all located on the ground floor.
